Join the Office of Work/Life and the Office of Religious Life, for a conversation about finding meaning at work.
Finding meaning in our work can help us feel awakened to our purpose, leading to an enhanced sense of overall well-being. However, it may be difficult to see meaning when addressing daily tasks or when faced with challenging workplace situations. Taking time to consider the spiritual dimensions of our work can lead to greater satisfaction and help us recognize ways that our tasks are rooted in something beyond today’s particular to-do list. All Columbia faculty/staff are invited to join.
Panelists:
Rev. Dr. Ian Rottenberg, Columbia University's Dean of Religious Life
Kevin Myers, Ergonomist in Columbia University’s Human Resources/Optum Workplace Well-Being
Facilitator:
Daniela Elazari, Director of Well-Being in Columbia University’s Office of Work/Life
