Nine excellent young musicians from the world-renowned Juilliard School will perform a program of two chamber works from the repertoire: Mozart’s String Quartet No. 19 in C Major, K. 465, the so-called “Dissonance” quartet, with its startling (for the time) opening; and Samuel Barber’s Summer Music, Op. 31, for woodwind quintet. These two works make a great pair, and the performance is sure to be thrilling.
