The Office of Religious Life is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Baccalaureate Service. Nominations are due by Sunday, December 15, 2024.
The Baccalaureate Service is a multifaith celebration of undergraduate commencement. Graduating seniors from CC, SEAS, GS, and Barnard are eligible to have a speaking role in the ceremony.
In order to achieve our annual goal of bringing together student participants who represent the wonderful diversity of our university community, we invite nominations for student speakers. To nominate an individual, please submit the following:
- Name of student
- Student's uni and school
- Student's faith tradition
- A short paragraph (about 50-100 words) describing how the student you are nominating is a leader in your faith tradition and why they would make a great reader or speaker to represent their faith tradition and their school.
Please e-mail your nomination to Assistant Director for Programming, Tessa McGowan, at [email protected], by December 15th. For any further questions about nominations or the Baccalaureate Service, please contact Tessa McGowan.
