Calling all student singers! We’re looking for students to sing in the choir for our annual Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols, at St. Paul’s Chapel (Columbia University). It’s a wonderful service of traditional Christmas music and readings. All singers are welcome to join the choir.
You’ll be sent PDFs of all the music in advance, and a binder with printed music will be provided for you at the rehearsals and concert. An excellent professional conductor, Janet Yieh (director of music at Church of the Heavenly Rest, on Fifth Avenue), will lead the choir in rehearsal and performance.
SCHEDULE
First rehearsal: Friday, December 6, 7pm–8:30pm
Second rehearsal: Tuesday, December 10, 7pm–8:30pm
Dress rehearsal: Friday, December 13, 4pm–5:15pm
Concert: Friday, December 13, 6pm–7:15pm
All at St. Paul’s Chapel, Columbia University.
